Botanical Pelvic Steam

Botanical pelvic (yoni) steam baths are traditional hydrotherapy that delivers antioxidants & anti-inflammatory properties to the uterus while increasing healing circulation. This treatment utilizes rising steam while you are in a seated position. This is a completely safe, non-invasive, and modest therapy with numerous benefits.

The wisdom of vaginal steaming, otherwise known as yoni or bajos steaming, has been practiced for centuries. It was originally developed for the purpose of postpartum care and treating other gynecological concerns but has also been used as a fertility enhancement to help with menstrual issues as part of healing postpartum and menopause.  Because it is such a gentle process, steaming can also release physical and emotional tension patterns held in the vagina and pelvic floor. Therefore pelvic steam baths are therapeutic and beneficial for women who have experienced sexual trauma.

Botanical Pelvic (Yoni) steams recommended uses include clearing & warming the uterus, recovery from painful periods, improving fertility, fibroids, endometriosis, blocked tubes, IVF/IUI preparation, scar tissue, and more.

Steams can be included with follow-up Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® treatments or enjoyed as a stand-alone self-care visit.

Vaginal steam consultations are 30-minutes and give insight into how plants and herbs can balance and maintain a healthy reproductive system.

Yoni Steaming Benefits:

From the time of conception, a woman’s body responds differently; every organ system is affected, and each trimester brings a unique experience. A mother will undergo a wide range of physiological, musculoskeletal, and emotional changes during pregnancy. By 40 weeks, the womb expands significantly as the baby gains weight. Ligaments are also stretched, and the pelvic bowl and lower back experience a great deal of pressure as your body’s structural alignment has shifted.

V-Steam Ritual Classes

Awaken your inner woman with this ancient and powerful sacred ritual.

Gently steaming the yoni with healing herbs is a very simple, effective, and ancient tradition. Throughout centuries, generations of women from many indigenous cultures have been passing down this sacred ritual to energetically, emotionally, and physically cleanse and nourish their yoni and awaken their Feminine Essence.

Dropping into the depth of our Womb and Yoni through breathing and gentle movements at the level of the hips, pelvis, and sacrum to allow the energy to start flowing and your lower belly to relax.

Our practitioners will guide you through a Womb Meditation to embrace all the emotions, traumas, physical sensations, and even shame that is present in your “sacred place.”

During and after experiencing the steaming, you are also invited and encouraged to meditate or journal or simply rest and feel supported.
