Common Questions About Our Care
Clarity Begins With Curiosity
Whether you're new to bodywork or returning for postpartum support, we've got answers to help you feel confident and informed.
What is Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy used for?
Arvigo® Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive technique that supports reproductive, digestive, and hormonal health. It’s often used to help reposition the uterus, improve pelvic circulation, and reduce symptoms related to fertility challenges, painful periods, postpartum recovery, and digestive congestion. Clients seeking womb-centered care benefit from this holistic method that aligns the internal body with its natural rhythms. Ashley incorporates tools like castor oil packs and guided breathwork to enhance the effects of this time-tested therapy. It’s suitable for a wide range of needs and always tailored to your unique body and goals.
Is it safe to get a massage during early pregnancy?
Yes. Ashley is trained in prenatal massage techniques that are safe and effective across all trimesters, including the first. These sessions are designed to accommodate your changing body, alleviate common discomforts like hip pain or swelling, and regulate your nervous system. Proper positioning, bolstering, and anatomical expertise ensure that you and your baby are fully supported throughout the session. If you're navigating a high-risk pregnancy, we encourage open communication so the session can be adjusted as needed. Safety and comfort are always our top priorities.
What symptoms can fertility bodywork help relieve?
Fertility bodywork supports the physical and emotional groundwork for conception. Clients often seek it to address hormonal imbalances, pelvic stagnation, uterine misalignment, and stress-related tension. Ashley combines Arvigo® techniques with guided breathwork and hands-on cycle tracking to create a plan that supports your body's readiness. Whether you’re trying to conceive naturally or simply want to regulate your cycle and feel more attuned to your rhythms, this care can be a powerful, supportive step. Note: Clients must avoid conception and ART during specific treatment plans.
When should I avoid booking an Arvigo® session?
There are a few key contraindications for Arvigo® Maya Abdominal Therapy. We do not perform this treatment during menstruation, within three to six months of abdominal surgery, or if there's an active pelvic infection or cancer. If you're unsure about your eligibility, reach out before booking. Safety is central to our work, and Ashley will guide you toward the best next step based on your current health. In all cases, alternative care options may be offered to support you in the interim.
What’s your cancellation policy for appointments?
We honor your time; please honor ours. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or reschedules. This policy allows us to offer that time to another client in need. Missed appointments or late cancellations will be charged the full session fee. We understand that life happens—especially in the motherhood journey—so please communicate as early as possible if adjustments are needed. Respecting this boundary helps sustain the integrity of care for all clients.
